Guidelines for preparation of abstract submissions

1. Abstracts will only be accepted through the linked form.

2. Abstracts will only be accepted from current healthcare students and foundation doctors.

3. The presenting author may submit one abstract only.

4. Abstract title - limited to 30 words.

5. Abstracts length - limited to 300 words, inclusive of all elements.

6. Abstracts should clearly state:

   • Background and aims​

   • Methodology

   • Results

   • Conclusions

7. The presenting author must register and attend the symposium for their poster to be accepted.

8. On submission, authors should indicate their presentation type preferences:

   • Poster presentation only​ (submission will be considered for poster presentation only)

   • Oral or poster presentation

9. Posters must be printed as A0 (841 x 1188 mm) and can be portrait or landscape.

10. It is the presenting author's responsibility for the cost and printing of their accepted poster. Delegates are encouraged to retain their poster after the symposium has ended.

11. Abstract submissions will close on 22nd May 2022 at 23:59 BST.

12. Presenting authors will be notified of their acceptance by 24th May 2022. Invitations for oral presentations will also be sent by this date.
