ABOUT CARDIFF PEMS
Cardiff PEMS was created by students, for students. We aim to enable interested healthcare students to access increased teaching and clinical exposure to Emergency Medicine. We run regular teaching sessions on a variety of topics, with guest speakers, small group emergency simulations and provide a wide range of learning resources through our social media channels.

Monthly Teaching Sessions
Cardiff PEMS organises regular teaching events aimed at students from all year groups. Our teaching focuses on acute and emergency medicine and we work hard to make our events engaging and interesting.

Peer Led Teaching
Peer led teaching is an important part of Cardiff PEMS, allowing more senior years to run hands on, small group teaching and share their knowledge.

Simulation
Moulages are a great, hands on way to put your clinical knowledge to work and reinforce your learning in a safe and supportive environment. Previous simulations include RTAs, Ballistics trauma, Expedition trauma, burns and many more.

Guest Speakers
Cardiff PEMS is lucky enough to have the support of a wide range of clinicians from all branches of acute and emergency medicine, who help deliver our teaching and simulations.
